The Aging and Disability Resource Center of West Central Texas provides connects people 60 and older, family caregivers of any age, and persons with disabilities of any age to valuable resources within the community. Staff provide personalized support, information, and application assistance to provide long-term care and solutions to clients by accessing available resources in the community. The Aging and Disability Resource Center Certified Benefits Counselors can assist with Medicare and Medicaid questions and assists clients in applying for Medicare Savings Programs and Low-Income Subsidies.

Caregiver Teleconnection

Caregiver teleconnection is a free, confidential program that provides support and information to family caregivers via phone call. Each month several topics are discussed by professionals and family caregivers. All sessions are recorded and uploaded on their website for future use.

The Eldercare Locator, funded by the Administration for Community Living and established in 1991, is n4a’s largest and longest-running national, direct-to-consumer program. The Call Center (800.677.1116) is open five days a week, 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. ET and serves as an essential, trusted gateway to help older adults, caregivers and aging/health professionals navigate the maze of aging programs and services, as well as to assist them in identifying and accessing the resources that match their needs best.
